UCI Ranked 3rd Best Value UX Design Graduate Program

March 3, 2017

UC Irvine was recently ranked third among the Top 50 Best Value UX Design Graduate Programs of 2016 by online college review and ranking site Value Colleges.  This ranking put UCI above many other well-respected institutions, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley and University of Michigan. In particular, the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences’ Department of Informatics was singled out for its reputable human-centered computing graduate programs.

The Department of Informatics offers the only mixed format, low-residency one year master of human-computer interaction and design (MHCID) in the world, providing students the benefits of in-person, high-touch learning in accelerated on-campus visits with the flexibility of online distance education. This new MHCID, only several months into it’s inaugural class, has already become highly regarded around UX circles. Like all master’s programs in the University of California system, MHCID is accredited by the WSCUC accrediting body and overseen by the Academic Senate of the University of California. The new program is particularly geared toward working professionals.

According to Value Colleges, “With a respected faculty, and a high level of freedom, graduate students at UCI are prepared for success and a high ROI.”
